From September 2025, the updated EYFS statutory framework introduces new Paediatric First Aid requirements for early years providers. This Full Paediatric First Aid course equips staff with the skills to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies involving infants and children. The course is fully aligned with EYFS 2025 and Ofsted guidance.
Course requirements: No prior first aid knowledge needed; minimum age 14 years; physically able to carry out practical elements; comfortable clothing recommended; a smartphone or tablet is required to scan QR codes for the test.

Choking, Seizures & Medical Emergencies
Identifying & treating partial and complete airway obstruction
Hands-on choking response using manikins/vests
Recognising seizure types and managing seizures
Post-incident care and escalation
Wounds, Bleeding & Shock
First aid for minor injuries: cuts, grazes, bruises, nosebleeds, burns & splinters
Controlling bleeding (minor to severe)
Optional: tourniquet & wound packing for catastrophic bleeding
